am so excited you're here. I'm originally from Canada (eh?) but have called Raleigh NC my home for many years. I currently reside in Wake Forest, NC with my husband , 2 beautiful kids who are 5 and 2 and one fur baby who keep me on my toes! I love pretty dresses (they take up my entire bonus room...my husband jokes he'll never have a mancave!), singing (and even made it to the top 100 in American Idol), french fries, traveling the world and making everyday into an adventure! I always LOVE unique location ideas!

Whether it be an updated family portrait, a couture mommy and me session, capturing your pregnancy or providing a timeless portrait of your child, I can't wait to work with you!

The Experience

One thing I commonly hear from clients is that they feel awkward or stiff in front of the camera. Don't worry....we ALL do! That's why I am here to help guide you through posing and make you feel beautiful and comfortable during our session. And I'm always running around, acting silly, or balancing a toy on my head to get the "real smiles" out of your children (and sometimes Dad's too haha).

After the session, I will send a gallery link through email with your soft-proofed photos. Once you select your favorites, that is where the magic of editing begins, transforming your photos into works of art to be treasured for years to come!

Common FAQs

Q: How long have you been a photographer?

A: I first picked up a camera seriously when I was a teenager (film days), and I fell in love with capturing moments as I traveled around with my family. But it wasn't until my first child was born in 2017 that I started pursuing it as a career. In 2020, I quit my full time engineering job and took on photography as my full-time career.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is fine art with true to color tones. I love capturing life how I see it...bold, brilliant and beautiful.

Q: Do you ever offer mini-sessions?

A: Yes, throughout the year I will offer limited-edition themed mini-sessions. Typically, these are held in spring, fall and Christmas (Christmas tree farm) and allow multiple families to be photographed on a certain date at a special location. These sessions are quick and a great way to update your family portraits, especially if you have really little ones with shorter attention spans.

Q: Do you offer any prints, canvases, etc?

A: Absolutely! But I want you feeling 1,000% comfortable and excited about the quality of your photographs before placing orders on those. That way, you only order exactly what you want, when you want, and when you know with confidence that they are going to look amazing on your walls and in your fine art heirloom albums. And all of this is done & ordered right through your online gallery and delivered straight to your home!

Q: how do i rent one of your couture gowns?

A: Depending on which session you choose, a couture gown will be inclusive in your collection choice. If another gown is needed as a rental (adult or child), additional gown rentals are $80/session.

Q: what happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

In the event that the weather doesn't cooperate (we all know how quickly the weather can change in NC), I will work with you to reschedule your session on a date that is convenient to you.

Q: How do I book you for my portrait session?

A: Love that question the most! To book me for your session, simply let me know what collection you are interested in! Once you see your gallery, you always have the option to upgrade to additional photos!
